Charity launches with wigs for cancer patients—and its own striking new style from AbelsonTaylor

Wig and a Prayer—a brand new charity that helps patients with cancer afford real-hair wigs—needed new branding to support its launch. Offering its services pro bono, AbelsonTaylor created a style all Wig and a Prayer’s own. AT developed everything from Wig and a Prayer’s first brochure to its entire website.

With access to wigs the charity’s sole focus, Wig and a Prayer needed a look clearly focused on hair. But it also had to stand out from the stock images of typical salons and hair products. Showcasing sketches of confident women—adorned with empowering words written in “real hair”—gave Wig and a Prayer a look that is striking and unmistakable.

These are survivors going through the most challenging period of their lives. With wigs made of real hair, they can feel strong, confident, and hopeful…more like their normal selves through their cancer journey.
